March 13th Notre Dame vs Fairfield

The Kinkaid School will host the Beating Cancer with a Stick Lacrosse Classic between The University of Notre Dame and Fairfield University

Saturday, March 13th at the Kinkaid School at 1:00.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and Childrens Cancer Hospital.

The event will also feature high school teams from The Kinkaid School, Gulliver Preparatory School from Miami , FL.,The Episcopal School of Houston, and Palo Verde High School from Las Vegas.

Game times range from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the main event (Notre Dame vs. Fairfield )at 1:00 PM.

US Lacrosse AED grants Deadline Nov. 30

US Lacrosse has announced a grant program to provide AEDs to quailfied programs.

Application Timeline for the Grant Program
September 28, 2009 – Grant applications available
November 30, 2009 – Postmark deadline for completed applications.
December 2009 – Notification letters sent to all applicants.
March 15, 2010 - All AED training workshops must be conducted.

Open to women and men. Requirements: Trainees must be a member of US Lacrosse and have a valid US Lacrosse membership ID number. Upon completion of the course a test will be administered.
This is an open book test, but is timed at 60 minutes. Only US Lacrosse members will be allowed to take the test as their membership number will need to be used to log in the results.

Notre Dame vs Fairfield March 13

Division I Lacrosse comes to Houston.

On March 13, 2010 The Kinkaid School will host the Notre Dame-Fairfield Lacrosse Challenge presented by Lacrosse4All.

Division I Lacrosse comes to Houston for the 1st time on the 13th at 1:00 p.m.

Be on the lookout for ticket information and more information regarding the first ever Division I Lacrosse event in Houston.
